Cheshire Course

The Cheshire Course is reminiscent of the finest British heathland courses; set to the rear of the Carden Park Estate it offers stunning panoramic views across the Cheshire countryside to the mountains of Wales.  A wealth of natural hazards make this a highly technical course and will test your skills throughout. Building to a dramatic and scenic finish, with tough 16th and 17th holes followed by the 18th tee atop sandstone cliffs overlooking the resort and Welsh hills. It certainly ensures a round of golf to remember.  

A Longest Drive competition is ideal on the 9th hole, with the 15th proving popular for Nearest the Pin, which keeps even the flagging players competitive spirits up right until your return to the Clubhouse. An average fourball can expect to complete the Cheshire Course in 4 ½ hours.

Fancy a Challenge

The 9th hole is a long par 4 uphill, mostly playing into the wind. A tight tee shot will leave you with a long second shot from an uneven lie to a well bunkered green. This is a great test to finish the front 9. The outstanding 12th hole is a challenge for any golfer, be careful when you’re setting up your shot as you should be aiming for the right hand side of the fairway otherwise you will be looking at a very demanding 2nd shot.

Play it Safe

On the 16th drive the ball in play, a shorter tee shot will leave you a flat lie rather then a very uneven approach to the green.

Go for glory

Be prepared to have your breath taken away once you reach the spectacular scenery of the 18th tee.  Take the driver off the 18th as the elevated tee will give you the extra hang time and remember everyone is watching your final hole from our stunning Clubhouse balcony!
