This is where our dedicated Memberships Team of Lucy Pearce and Fianna Ball Smith come in.
Boasting a range of experience and key knowledge of the hotel, Lucy and Fianna are enjoying their relatively new roles at Cheshire’s Country Estate.
Lucy explains about her role as Memberships Supervisor.
“I have recently returned back to work at Carden Park after previously working here for 11 years. Since leaving originally, I have gained Front Of House experience and further knowledge with working at two other hotels within Cheshire. I have now been working within the Memberships Team now for 2 months, therefore I am still getting to know all of our members, however I am looking forward to developing a friendly and approachable relationship with everyone going forward”.
On returning to her roots at Carden Park, Lucy is excited about the prospect of working with #teamcarden once again.
“My favourite thing about the hotel really is the people here. It’s such a friendly working environment! For myself personally coming back to work here feels just like I’m coming home. There are of course lots of new faces, however I can overall say that it is great to be back”.
Fianna, our Memberships Executive has come down a different path, but is also eager for the challenge ahead.
“Before working at Carden, I was studying my A Levels, so I started part time before going onto the Trainee Manager Course here, which included working in several departments across the hotel. This gave me some really good knowledge of how the hotel operates and was perfect research for my current role, in which I am required to have strong relations with members and host their events”.
Enthusiasm is key to a role like this and fortunately Lucy and Fianna have it in abundance…especially when discussing the range of memberships available.
“We offer a vast range of memberships available from Leisure, Golf, Resort and the My Carden Club membership. These can be tailored to suit the guests needs, which we are more than happy to discuss either over the phone or by coming directly into the hotel to view the facilities. We are always looking to create a personal and welcoming experience for all new and fully established members”.
Our fantastic Memberships Team both agree that there’s so many benefits to being a member at Carden Park. Fianna highlights the many advantages on offer.
“I like to think of our memberships as a package. There’s great discounts on dining, preferential room rates, as well as individual golf and leisure benefits such as golf buggy discount and cheaper spa treatments. Going forward, Lucy and I want to keep building bonds with our members and ask them what they would like included in their package. It’s this kind of relationship which make for a really vibrant membership community here at Carden Park”.
Lucy also believes that being a member is good for social reasons.
“I feel that it is a chance to meet other members and socialise with them. Many of our members have social clubs set up outside of Carden and they often meet for coffee and a spot of lunch. Since being on board with memberships, I am also trying to arrange an events calendar for members, whereby on the events calendar, we can organise different social events throughout the year. This gives members a chance to not only meet with myself and Fianna, but to also meet and be introduced to others”.
The future also looks bright at Carden Park. Something which Lucy and Fianna think our members will undoubtedly relish. Fianna personally can’t wait for 2018.
“This is a really exciting time for memberships. There are lots of plans in the pipeline over the next 12 months which will mean that not only will our resort be expanding, but also that our current leisure facilities will be rapidly improving. If that’s not a reason for becoming a member here, then I don’t know what is”.
