Assistant Pastry Chef

The Carden Park Hotel seeking an assistant pastry chef to support the Pastry Chef and kitchen brigade. This is a great opportunity for a chef who has a particular love for pastry and who wants to develop and grow with an experienced Chef brigade.

Your day with Team Carden:

  • Creating delicious desserts as well as our afternoon tea menus
  • You will be encouraged to bring fresh ideas, supporting menu development that works alongside the main menu
  • You will be responsible for achieving gross profit margins, stock rotations and maintain a safe and hygienic workplace.
  • Team work

Enjoy a full time role of 40 hours per week, working both evenings and weekends.

Salary £20,000 per annum

As part of the Carden kitchen team you will need to have previous proven experience of working within quality establishments. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a luxury resort and learning from Executive Head Chef, Graham Tinsley MBE and his excellent Chef brigade.
