Summary of Job Function:

  • Driving business market segments such as: Conference, Banqueting, Weddings, Corporate Group, Sporting Groups and Special Events.
  • Handle all incoming enquiries in accordance to company operating procedures, and in turn maximising sales wherever possible

Accountable for:

  • To maximise C&B revenue and profit through commercial rooms and diary management
  • Delivery of the companies operating procedures
  • Handle all telephone enquiries in accordance to the BDRC criteria

Purpose:

  • To ensure exceptional Client service is delivered at all times
  • To draw up Client event proposals based upon specific requirements detailed
  • To carry out Client site visits of the property where necessary
  • To maximise selling opportunities by adding customer value at every opportunity

Objectives / Performance Targets (measure)

  • Achieving / Exceeding Sales Conversion Targets set each month
  • To continually liaise with Event coordination to ensure event success
  • To maximise sales and provide guest satisfaction
  • To collate the event information and input into Sales Force accurately.

Senior Duties

  • Maintain strong office links with the other teams in the hotel
  • Assist in the production of budgets / forecast if required to do so
  • Assist in training for new starters within the team
  • Motivate staff to encourage and obtain maximum commitment and efficient service
  • Offer support to the Sales Office Manager / Supervisor in general administration tasks / reporting tasks
