Chester Food, Drink and Lifestyle Festival

Watch the chefs cook up delicious recipes in the live cooking demonstrations and sample delicious food and drinks at the stalls. Simon Rimmer of Sunday Brunch will be appearing on the main stage on Saturday or you can watch Masterchef presenter Gregg Wallace judge the Sous Chef challenge on Sunday. Even the children will have a blast as they join in cooking workshops!

Jurassic Easter at the Blue Planet Aquarium

Kicking off Easter weekend on Good Friday, join the Blue Planet Aquarium for their ‘Jurassic Easter’ event. Featuring a golden egg hunt through the reptile trail, fossil demonstrations and talks on evolution, you’ll find the Blue Planet Aquarium just 20 minutes from Carden Park.

Chester Easter Challenges

In partnership with CH1ChesterBID, businesses in Chester City Centre have come together to offer competitions and free activities between 25th March and 17th April. From free film screenings at the Grosvenor Museum to a ‘find the eggs’ city trail, the the whole family will have a great time exploring the city of Chester.

Chester City PassionChester Eastgate Clock

The world famous company Chester Mystery Plays are back with a free performance of the Passion on Good Friday. Starting at the Eastgate Clock, the performance will proceed to the Cross, Town Hall Square and finishes at the Cathedral.

Easter Adventure Quest

Head down to Beeston Castle between March 25th and March 28th for an adventure like no other! You’ll be greeted with stories from times gone by to help you on your quest throughout the castle grounds. Can you crack the clues to reveal a chocolatey award?

Chocolate Making at Tatton Park

On 26th, 27th and 28th March, children can learn how to create their own half Belgian Milk Chocolate Easter Egg from Master Chocolatier Fiona Griffiths. Suitable for children aged 7 to 12, booking is essential.
