How To Make The Perfect Gin and Tonic!

With over 30 gins available at Morgan’s Bar… you’ll be spoilt for choice. But do you know how to make the perfect gin and tonic?

What glass to use?
There are a range of different glasses you can use; from long glasses to balloon glasses.  Try using a balloon glass as this will enhance the aroma of your gin and garnish.

Keep your gin cold…
Keep all of your G&T ingredients and equipment as cold as possible before starting. Putting your glass in the freezer beforehand is a good idea too.

Add your tonic
Don’t drown your gin! This will help to retain the gins flavour for longer but still allowing the tonic to enhance the flavour.

Cover the glass with flavour
To increase the flavour of the gin and tonic even further, run the fleshy part of your drink’s garnish around the rim for a stronger scent and flavour. Citrus is traditional but you could also try other fruits, vegetables and herbs.

There is nothing better than a gin and tonic any night of the week! Especially when you are enjoying your G&T at Cheshire’s Country Estate!
