Wild Worlds Festival – Chester Zoo

This summer, see Chester Zoo as you have never seen it before. Discover new spaces within the zoo’s favourite places, experience head-turning moments, breath-taking experiments and pop up performers.

Wild Worlds is open from now until Sunday 30th September.  There are 14 individual interactive installations for you discover and explore across the zoo, each designed and created exclusively for Chester Zoo.

Jurassic SharkBlue Planet Aquarium 

Visit Blue Planet Aquarium this July and discover a dinosaur area filled with fossil digs and a fun-filled teepee with Dinosaur eggs and giant footprints.

Much Ado About Nothing, Swallows and Amazons & The TempestGrosvenor Park Open Air Theatre

Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre performances signals the start of Summer in the heart of Chester. The sounds of popping corks, picnics unpacked and happy audiences ripple throughout the busy streets.

This year, performances include Much Ado About Nothing from 6th July – 25th August, Swallows and Amazons from 14th July – 26th August and The Tempest from 27th July – 26th August.

25th July 

Wedding Open Evening – Carden Park

Come along to our wedding open evening and picture your perfect Summer wedding venue. Set in 1,000 acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside, offering a wide choice of spacious venue rooms and an outdoor Wedding Gazebo. The evening will include welcome drinks and canapes, a show round and an opportunity for Q&A’s. Also, guests will get the opportunity to see the suites dress for a Wedding Breakfast and Ceremony.

27th – 29th July 

CarFestBolesworth Castle 

CarFest returns this year to Bolesworth Castle and is an event that combines classic cars, live music and food whilst also raising money for BBC Children in Need.

The first acts announced are Bananarama, The Feeling, Status Quo and Madness. Foodie fans will see the likes of Tom Kerridge, Joe Wicks and Nadiya Hussain, among others.

Captains Charity Golf – Carden Park

Take part in our Captains Charity Golf Day and help raise funds for Hope House. The competition will take place on one of our two Championship courses, Nicklaus Course.
