BAFTA-Winning Comedian to Headline Charity Lunch

Carden Park Hotel is proud to welcome Children Today Charitable Trust to our stunning Cheshire countryside setting this summer. The Chester-based charity is hosting its Lunch & Laugh fundraiser in The Shooting Suite on Friday 19th June.

Set against the elegant backdrop of Carden Park, this uplifting charity lunch promises an afternoon of exceptional dining, inspiring performances and plenty of laughter – all in support of children and young people living with disabilities.

An Elegant Afternoon at Carden Park

Guests will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and a performance from Dee Sign Choir, a Chester-based British Sign Language choir renowned for their expressive and heartfelt performances.

A two-course lunch, crafted by Carden Park’s highly regarded culinary team, will showcase the quality and creativity synonymous with the hotel’s dining experiences, making this charity lunch a true celebration of fine food and warm hospitality.

Headlined by BAFTA-Winning Comedian Jack Carroll

The afternoon will be headlined by BAFTA-winning comedian, actor and writer Jack Carroll, whose sharp wit and infectious humour are guaranteed to leave guests smiling.

Best known as a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent, Jack has since become a familiar face on British television, with appearances on Live at the Apollo and Coronation Street, where he starred as Bobby Crawford. A graduate of the BBC Writersroom, Jack recently accepted a BAFTA award for his BBC sitcom pilot Mobility – a comedy short following three disabled teenagers navigating daily life together.

“I’m really looking forward to being part of Lunch & Laugh at Carden Park,” says Jack. “Children Today does incredible work supporting young people with disabilities, and it’s a real privilege to help raise funds for such an important cause, while also bringing some laughs along the way.”

Supporting Children Today Charitable Trust

Children Today provides life-changing mobility and sensory equipment, including adapted trikes, powered wheelchairs and specialist buggies, helping disabled children and young people achieve greater independence and wellbeing.
