Hosted in Carden Park’s largest event space, the elegant Carden Suite, this black-tie gala brought together over 200 guests for an unforgettable evening of fine dining, entertainment and heartfelt storytelling – all in support of Nightingale House Hospice.
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed by the striking sight of a tethered, branded hot air balloon, setting the tone for an evening themed around inspiration and elevation. The night began with a sparkling drinks reception in the Carden Suite’s breakout area, beautifully styled with a bespoke hot air balloon backdrop that echoed the event’s uplifting ‘Sky’s the Limit’ theme.
Inside the main suite, shimmering lights, elegant balloon-inspired décor, floating candles and pearl centerpieces created a captivating atmosphere. The evening featured a blend of entertainment and emotion – from a showstopping dance performance to an interactive bingo game and auction, all interwoven with touching patient stories and video celebrating Nightingale House’s incredible 30-year journey.

Nightingale House aimed to create a celebration worthy of 30 years of compassion, care and community – Carden Park well and truly delivered. The hotel provided not just a venue, but a complete event experience; from the stunning ballroom setting and innovative theming, to the dedicated coordination team ensuring every detail was executed flawlessly.
The Sky’s the Limit Ball proved an overwhelming success, raising significant funds for Nightingale House Hospice and leaving guests deeply moved and inspired.
