New Golf Clubs Have Arrived at Carden Park Hotel

We’re excited to announce the arrival of three highly anticipated clubs at Carden Park’s Golf Pro Shop. The Taylormade QI35, Ping G440 and Callaway Elyte have all been designed with the latest technology to help you elevate your game. Let’s take a closer look at what each of these clubs has to offer. 

Taylormade QI35

The Taylormade QI35 follows the well-regarded QI10, maintaining the forgiveness that made the previous model popular but with improved performance. This year, the QI35 comes in three variations: the standard, LS (Low Spin) for players looking to reduce spin, and the Max, which is slightly draw-biased to help counteract slicing. A notable addition is the Max Light, which has been well-received, especially among senior golfers and some ladies looking for a lighter head. This model’s Trajectory Adjustment System allows players to customise spin by adjusting the weight positions, giving added versatility. The use of premium materials like chromium carbon, steel, aluminium, tungsten, and titanium ensures durability while maintaining superb performance. This new release has also significantly reduced backspin, helping golfers achieve longer and more forgiving shots, which has been particularly helpful on tight holes like hole 16 at Cheshire Golf Course, where drivers would typically be avoided.

Ping G440

Building on the success of the G430, the Ping G440 driver continues the brand’s legacy of reliability and forgiveness. Available in three models – the Standard, LST (Low Spin Tech) for experienced players and the SFT (Straight Flight Tech) for those seeking extra forgiveness – the G440 is designed to cater to a wide range of golfers. Ping’s focus on sound and feel has made a noticeable difference with this release, providing a more refined experience compared to the G425 Driver. The G440 features a shallower face, which helps save weight and a head positioned slightly further back with longer shafts to enhance ball speed. The result is a driver that not only feels great but performs exceptionally well, offering improved distance and accuracy for golfers of all levels.

Callaway Elyte

Replacing the popular Callaway AI Smoke, the new Callaway Elyte is designed to deliver even more distance and control. The Elyte comes in three variations: the X, Standard, and Triple Diamond, with the head model tailored to a golfer’s shot shape, strike pattern, and launch characteristics. The Elyte is engineered to provide longer shots even on off-centre hits, thanks to its revolutionary design which includes 10 times more control points across the face than previous models. Our Golf Pros have praised the Elyte’s ability to deliver exceptional ball speed, particularly the Triple Diamond model which is suited to experienced players and combines high ball speed with excellent forgiveness. Compared to its predecessor the AI Smoke, the Elyte adds up to 8 yards of extra distance, thanks to its newly designed face and a Thermo Forged Carbon Crown that optimises mass properties for improved play performance.
