International Football Training Centre
A £1 million investment is set to culminate in the launch of a brand-new 105m x 68m football pitch at Carden Park, sitting alongside our existing professional-standard pitch.
Designed to meet the exacting standards of international football teams, the new facility marks a major milestone in our ambition to establish Carden Park as the North West’s premier sports destination hotel.
A standout feature is its stitched hybrid grass surface, installed by leading sports turf specialists Limonta Sport using its innovative VERDEMIX hybrid grass technology. The facility is further enhanced by a state-of-the-art drainage system, changing facilities, precision engineering and stadium-standard automated irrigation, ensuring exceptional year-round playing conditions.
The new addition joins Carden Park’s existing sports and leisure facilities, combining comfort and hospitality with the performance, privacy and infrastructure required by elite teams.
“We are experiencing increasing demand from professional clubs for world-class training environments that combine elite performance facilities with outstanding hospitality. This new pitch allows us to provide an experience of the highest standard and represents a major milestone in our ambition to become an internationally recognised football training destination.”
— Hamish Ferguson – Director & General Manager of Carden Park Hotel
