This week we are thrilled to announce that work on the exciting project to build a brand-new spa here at Carden Park in Cheshire has begun.
Set to open in Summer 2019, the breaking ground ceremony took place on 26th June 2018 with Carden Park Owner Steve Morgan CBE in attendance.
With an investment of £10 million, the new luxury spa is set to be a world class spa and is part of the overall £20 million full hotel refurbishment.
Inspired by the natural countryside setting here at Carden, the new spa will welcome both day spa visitors and overnight guests to fully relax and recharge with a large choice of facilities. This includes an exceptional outdoors spa garden complete with a sensory hydrotherapy pool, hot tubs, fire pits and outdoor sauna with private ‘secret garden’ relaxation spaces plus a central champagne bar – with an exciting announcement to be revealed!
Inside the spa, we will be offering a range of different thermal experiences, a large vitality pool, ice fountain, snow shower, experience showers, foot baths and heated loungers. You will be able to relax in 14 treatment rooms and a beauty lounge will offer manicure, pedicure, lash and brow services for the finishing touches. A number of relaxation areas with cosy seating spaces are planned, as well as a first floor lounge and restaurant with stunning, far reaching views.
Announcing the development, Carden Park General Manager, Hamish Ferguson says “Carden Park is constantly innovating and evolving to meet market demands but this is a momentous leap forward for the business as we invest in what will be one of the most luxurious spa developments in the UK. Not only will it offer Cheshire residents a place to relax and socialise but it will also prove an important added attraction to the luxury leisure break market. We have an incredible team of people involved and I’m looking forward to what will be a very special spa journey for us all.”
We are thrilled to be completing this project with a number of spa industry experts and are excited to reveal further plans as the build progresses.
