Take a stroll around the grounds of Carden Park during your visit and you will come across the three acre onsite vineyard.

The vineyard at Carden Park is well known as Cheshire’s largest commercial vineyard. Its story dates back to 1988 when the majority of vines were planted. In 2008 the‚ 4,000 vines were reinstated at the estate and much care was taken to grow them to their former glory.

Now, after hard work and much nurturing, the three acre vineyard is able to produce up to 6,000 bottles of Carden Estate Reserve sparkling wine each year from the two grape varieties grown, Seyval Blanc and Pinot Noir.

Each year, in October or early November, the grapes are harvested by our estates team. Working with HalfPenny Green winemakers of South Staffordshire, the grapes are then put through a fermentation process to produce the bottles of Carden Estate Reserve.

If you would like to try a glass of Carden Estate Reserve sparkling wine, it is available throughout the hotel restaurants and bars. Alternatively bottles are available to purchase and take home as a souvenir.
