Your Reservation at Carden Park

Please see below some important information related to your stay at Carden Park Hotel.

All guests are required to produce a valid debit or credit card using chip and pin at check in. If you have paid for your stay in advance, please produce the card you used for payment on arrival.

Accommodation rates that have not been paid in advance will be charged upon check in, along with a pre-authorisation of £10 which will allow payments to be charged to your bedroom account. If you wish to settle your bill prior to arrival, this can be completed via the online check in system within 3 days of your stay at Carden Park.

Guests paying with a voucher, must present the voucher upon check in. If the voucher is not produced then the full amount for the room must be paid on check in.

The charge for children is automatically included in the rate when inclusive of either Bed and Breakfast or Dinner Bed and Breakfast. Please note that when golf or spa is included in your rate description, that is for adults and not children.

Your room will be available from 3pm on the day you arrive and as a courtesy to arriving guests, we ask you to vacate your room by 11am on the day of departure.

If you are enjoying a dinner, bed and breakfast stay you have a food only allowance of £30 per adult and £15 per child (2-15 years), this can be used towards our Redmond’s or Vines Menu. If you are dining with us and have any food allergies or intolerances, then please advise so that we can make the appropriate arrangements for you.

When dining between 24th December and 4th January, our menus may change to suit the availability of goods.

Hotel Leisure Club:

Take a dip in the swimming pool, relax in the hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room or tepidarium beds. Your stay will also include complimentary use of the hotel gym during your stay
Leisure club opening times: Monday to Friday from 6.30am until 9pm (last entry 8.30pm) and Saturday & Sunday from 7am until 8pm (last entry at 7.30pm). Adult only Swim Times are 7pm onwards.

The Spa at Carden:

Why not make the most of your stay and upgrade to include a session in the Spa Garden and Thermal Facilities with outdoor hot tubs, vitality pools and a range of experiences to stimulate your senses or add a treatment at our brand new spa. Golf:

Play a game on one of the Championship golf courses. We recommend booking your tee times when confirming your reservation, tee times are not guaranteed unless pre-booked and are subject to availability. All golfers will need to wear proper golfing attire with non-metal spikes. On occasion, it may be necessary to create a four ball from individual bookings. Dining:

There are two restaurants at Carden Park Hotel, Redmond’s Brasserie and The Vines at Carden.

If you are enjoying a dinner, bed and breakfast stay you will have a food only allowance. If you have any food allergies or intolerances, then please advise at the time of booking so we can make the appropriate arrangements for you.

Trainers and sportswear are not permitted in our Redmond’s Brasserie and The Vines at Carden.

Redmond’s Brasserie: Breakfast 7.00am – 10.00am (Monday – Friday) and 7:00am – 10:30am (Saturday – Sunday)

The Vines at Carden: Open Thursday to Sunday for dinner 6pm to 9pm.

Please be aware, a £35 per person payment charge will be applied to your card if you do not arrive at your designated time or do not cancel within 72 hours of your booking.

Deposits & Cancellations:

ALL payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposits required, non-arrivals or cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions of the agreed rate quoted. Guests are required to settle their accommodation account upon check in at the hotel by Chip and Pin using a valid Debit or Credit Card. Should you wish to charge to your bedroom account, a valid credit card must be presented which will be pre-authorised for £10 via Chip and Pin. (This service is not available using a debit card).

All pre-paid bookings must show the card used for payment on arrival and cannot be cancelled, changed, transferred or refunded. We advise guests to consider insurance to cover any cancellation. Separate terms and conditions apply to Functions, Conference and Wedding bookings. Please contact the Hotel directly for information on the full Function, Conference and Wedding terms and conditions. Cancellations for agent or corporate bookings are as per the relevant contract.

On rare occasions, it may become necessary to cancel rooms and find alternative accommodation. Unless the reason for needing to do this is beyond our reasonable control, we will either provide a room in another local hotel of a similar quality and pay any difference in room rate, if in our opinion there is no suitable alternative Hotel accommodation available, we will cancel your booking and refund any monies you have paid in advance for the unavailable room. Provisional reservations are held until 2pm on the day of arrival, after which rooms will be released unless they have been guaranteed by deposit or credit card.

Our Rates:

Fully Flexible – These rates do not require pre-payment and allows the flexibility of cancelling or amending your booking up to 12noon on the day of arrival.

Advance Purchase & Promotional Packages – These rates are discounted from our Flexible packages, and are subject to full pre-payment at the time of booking which is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Spa and Golf Packages – As per advance purchase.

Corporate – As per contract.

Whilst every effort is made to fulfil your requests, unfortunately, we cannot always guarantee certain requests, i.e. balcony room, main hotel room. Special Arrangements:

Carden Park treats all guests as individuals and therefore will endeavour to fulfil individual needs during your time here. However, whilst every effort is made to fulfil your requests, unfortunately, we can not always guarantee these and failure to do so will not constitute a breach of contract.

Cancellations / Amendments by Us:

Cancellation charges and terms are dependent on the rate type booked for your stay (i.e. Advanced Saver, Promotional and Flex). If staying in a group separate cancellations terms will be applicable.

In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your reservation, we reserve the right to do so. If this does arise you can 1) accept the changed arrangements as notified, 2) make an alternative arrangement with us or, 3) cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of any monies paid dependent on rate type booked.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel any booking made on a promotional rate and rebook on an alternative date – subject to availability.

Car Parking:

Carden Park has 700 complimentary parking spaces, however, cars and belongings are left at your own risk. Carden Park does not accept responsibility for loss or damage whilst vehicles are left on the property.

Pets Policy:

Carden Park does not allow dogs or pets on the property apart from assistance dogs.

Damage to Hotel Property:

We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the Hotel’s property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/debit card or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address if this is deemed necessary.

Smoking Policy:

All bedrooms at Carden Park are non-smoking and a fine may be added to your bill if you smoke indoors.

Cots / Extra Beds:

Cots and extra bedding are available during your stay, please let us know at time of booking if you have additional needs during your stay. If they are not requested upon time of booking we cannot guarantee availability.

Children:

Children aged 0-15 years are charged £20 BB per child when sharing their parent’s room‚  and the parents are staying on BB basis. Children aged 0-2 years are charged £25 DBB per child with £6 dinner allowance and children aged 3-16 years are charged £35 DBB per child with £15 dinner allowance when sharing their parents room and the parents are staying on DBB basis. Dinner included is the children’s menu.

Harassment and Bullying:

Payment:

The full price of each stay and any additional charges incurred during your stay are to be settled in full before departure by cash, cheque with current banker’s card, MasterCard, Visa or American Express. We are unable to accept Maestro or Solo cards as a form of guarantee or payment either via our website or Reservations team.

If a promotional rate stay is booked a non refundable and non transferable full pre payment is required prior to arrival and charged to your credit card. Credit card details are otherwise taken only as a booking guarantee for all other rates, unless where detailed.

Your credit card will be charged for the full amount if you fail to settle your account before departure.

VAT is included at the current prevailing rate unless otherwise stated. Bookings are taken at the discretion of Carden Park and are subject to availability. Prices may be restricted or may not apply at certain times.

Promotions

All special offers and promotions are subject to availability and Carden Park reserves the right to amend or remove details of offers without prior notice. All prices stated are ‘from prices’. All offers and promotions are valid for new bookings only and cannot be used in conjunction with other offer.
